On September 1, 2009, Discovery Channel’s Tuesday night line-up was the #2 network in primetime in all of ad-supported cable in delivery among M18-49 and M25-54 with all-new episodes of SWORDS: LIFE ON THE LINE at 9PM ET/PT and THE COLONY at 10PM ET/PT.
THE COLONY was the #1 program in ad-supported cable during the 10PM hour for M18-49 (677K), raking in 1.5 million total viewers. The episode surpassed several primetime broadcast telecasts for M18-49 delivery, including AMERICA’S GOT TALENT (NBC, 8PM) and CRASH COURSE (ABC, 8PM), and among M18-34, THE COLONYsurpassed THE OUTSIDERS (ABC, 10PM), NCIS (CBS, 8PM & 10PM), and AMERICA’S GOT TALENT (NBC, 8PM).
In addition, SWORDS: LIFE ON THE LINE was among the top five primetime ad-supported cable telecasts for M25-54 delivery for the night.
