GMC Generates its Highest-Ever Weekly Ratings

ATLANTA, Nov. 29, 2010— GMC, America’s favorite channel for uplifting music and family entertainment, announced today that it generated its highest-ever weekly ratings during the week of Nov. 15-21, 2010.*

GMC garnered a 0.10 total household rating for the week, a 129% gain over the same period last year. The network also generated its highest-ever weekly primetime rating, 0.15 (+168% over same period last year), and its best-ever primetime single-night rating, 0.33 on Sunday, Nov. 21.

Key demos for the week saw triple-digit year-to-year gains, with increases of 149% among P18–49; 182% among W18–49; 149% among P25–54; and 129% among  W25–54.

This latest ratings news follows the strong showing of GMC’s first-ever gospel stage production, Love Me or Leave Me, which attracted 874,000 viewers** across three airings on its World Premiere night of Nov. 13.

“We are closing the year with great ratings momentum and look forward to reaching new heights on a regular basis in 2011,” said Brad Siegel, vice chairman of GMC. “Our uplifting family entertainment strategy is resonating with viewers.”
