Second Season of “On The Case with Paula Zahn” Breaks Network Record, Second Episode Garners 773k Total Viewers

April marks Investigation Discovery’s highest April ever in prime delivery among HH, P2+, P/M/W25-54 and P/W18-49,  27 consecutive months of year-over-year prime gains in HH (since Jan 08 launch) and 12 straight months of year-over-year prime gains in P/W25-54.  In addition, ID, America’s leading investigation network, continues to be the fastest growing cable network in prime in P25-54 and P18-49, calendar year-to-date.

Also in April, each night of the week boasts double or triple-digit P25-54 delivery gains vs. April 09’s nightly prime average:  Mon, +36%; Tue, +111%; Wed, +42%; Thu, +55%;  Fri, +76%; Sat, +59% and Sun,  +71%.

Premiere of the second season of “On the Case with Paula Zahn” (4/18) was ID’s highest HH program delivery ever (541k), only to be bested by the second episode (4/25) which achieved the network’s highest P2+ (773k) and HH (590k) delivery ever for a network program, up 17% and 9% respectively vs. the second season premiere.

“On the Case with Paula Zahn” beat fully distributed networks A&E, Oxygen, MTV, WE, MSNBC and CNN in its timeslot in P2+ (773k); Hallmark, Oxygen, WE, CNN, MSNBC and MTV in P25-54 (323k); WE, CNN, MSNBC and MTV in W25-54 (203k); and Hallmark, WE, CNN and MSNBC in W18-49 (156k).
