New York, NY (July 23, 2012) – Global singing, dancing and acting sensation Jennifer Lopez will appear on MTV on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at 7:50 p.m. ET to exclusively premiere her new music video for the song “Goin’ In” from the STEP UP REVOLUTION movie soundtrack, which she is currently performing on her World Tour, during “MTV First: Jennifer Lopez.” Hosted by MTV News’ Sway Calloway, Lopez will appear on-air to personally introduce the new music video featuring Flo Rida and then stay on for an extended 30-minute interview on MTV.com. The music video will also premiere across MTV’s international platforms in 150+ territories.
Fans can get in on the action immediately by submitting video or text questions via MTV.com or via Twitter (using @MTVNews / hash-tag #MTVFirst #AskJLo). Following the broadcast premiere, the music video for “Goin’ In” will go into immediate rotation on MTV Hits and mtvU, and debut in AMTV the following morning.

STEP UP REVOLUTION is the newest installment of the worldwide smash Step Up franchise, which sets its dancing against the vibrant backdrop of Miami. Emily (Kathryn McCormick) arrives in Miami with aspirations of becoming a professional dancer and soon falls in love with Sean (Ryan Guzman), a young man who leads a dance crew in elaborate, cutting-edge flash mobs, called “The Mob.” When a wealthy business man threatens to develop The Mob’s historic neighborhood and displace thousands of people, Emily must band together with Sean and The Mob to turn their performance art into protest art, and risk losing their dreams to fight for a greater cause.
