SECOND SEASON RETURN OF STARZ ORIGINAL SERIES “BLACK SAILS” SECURES BOUNTY OF 2.8 MILLION LIVE+3 WEEKEND VIEWERS AND COUNTING…APPROACHING 4 MILLION MULTIPLATFORM VIEWERS

Robust weekend audience growth for “Black Sails” compared to the end of season 1

·         More Than 2.2 million viewers Live+SD watched season 2, episode 1 on STARZ (2.24M); +27% increase from season 1 finale weekend (1.77M)

·         Nearly 10% increase compared to the season 1 Live+SD weekend average on STARZ (2.05M)

·      Steady season two Live+SD episode premiere viewership both for the 9PM airing (episode 201 = 860K viewers vs. episode 101 = 846K viewers) and also for total weekend viewership (episode 201 = 2.24 million versus episode 101 = 2.43 million viewers)

Partial multiplatform data already has the tally for the second season return approaching 4 million viewers and counting – DOES NOT INCLUDE ADDITIONAL MULTIPLEX, FULL LIVE+7, STARZ ON DEMAND, STARZ PLAY, AND OTHER ONLINE VIEWERSHIP FIGURES

New episodes of “Black Sails” air on Saturdays at 9PM ET/PT exclusively on STARZ, including the second episode of the second season airing tomorrow night
