Largest Producer of Spanish Language Primetime Content Launches New Mobile Web Player Offering Authenticated Viewers Free Access to Full Length Episodes of More Than 300 Programs
NEW YORK, May 14, 2013—On the heels of announcing over 1000 hours of new content and the launch of FLUENCY, a groundbreaking multi-platform production studio, Telemundo Media today unveiled TelemundoMás, the network’s first ever full-length player for the web and mobile devices providing passionate and authenticated fans with a user-friendly destination where they can access full episodes of over 300 Telemundo programs in HD. The new platform leverages the support and expertise of NBCUniversal and will serve as a catalyst that attracts client partners to an innovative advertising space and connects U.S. Hispanics and brands within a state of the art digital streaming experience.

TelemundoMás will offer full episodes the day after they air at no additional cost and via a user-friendly portal that seamlessly adjusts to the size of the user’s screen. Beginning this summer, users can go to www.telemundoMas.com or download the TelemundoMás app to watch episodes of hit shows, “Caso Cerrado Edicion Especial,” “Pasión Prohibida,” “El Señor de los Cielos,” “La Patrona,” “La Voz Kids,” “Billboard Latin Music Awards,” “Premios Tu Mundo,” “The Billboard Mexican Music Awards,” “Camino a la Corona” and more. Content will be authenticated for MVPD video subscribers who have Telemundo in their video package.
According to Nielsen, 68 percent of Hispanics in the U.S. own a smartphone and spend 11 percent more time watching mobile video than the general population.
