in Total Viewers, Women 18-49 and Women 25-54
Season to Date, “The Chew” Sees its Top 15 Weeks of All Time
in Total Viewers and Top 14 Weeks Ever in Women 18-49
During the week of January 27, 2014, ABC’s “The Chew” generated its #1 week in the series’ over two year history in Total Viewers (3.34 million), Women 18-49 (607,000/0.9 rating) and Women 25-54 (796,000/1.3 rating), nearly breaking into the Top 5 programs and posting the largest year to year increases of any program in daytime in the key women measures.
Impressively, 2013/14 season to date, “The Chew” has delivered its Top 15 weeks of all time in Total Viewers and Top 14 weeks ever in Women 18-49.
Of note, for the next four weeks, culinary professionals from around the country will appear weekly on “The Chew” to showcase their skills in developing and preparing healthy, delicious dishes for a chance to win $75,000 and one-year consulting contract with Weight Watchers as the Weight Watchers Chef.
- Tuesday’s telecast, “Chewsday Tuesday,” featuring all you can eats breakfast ideas – stood as the show’s #1 telecast of all time in Total Viewers (3.96 million), Women 18-49 (736,000/1.2 rating) and Women 25-54 (1.00 million/1.6 rating).
- In fact, this week saw “The Chew” deliver 2 of its Top 4 telecasts to date in Total Viewers, its Top 2 telecasts on record in Women 18-49 and 3 of its Top 4 ever in Women 25-54:
- Versus the year ago week, “The Chew” delivered the largest growth of any program in Daytime among Women 18-49 (+33% – 607,000 vs. 456,000) and Women 25-54 (+26% – 796,000 vs. 632,000), and achieved solid double digit gains in Total Viewers (+26% – 3.34 million vs. 2.65 million).
