NEW YORK – May 6, 2014 – TLC celebrates on Sunday, May 18th with a live Twitter event and viewing party for the season finale of LONG ISLAND MEDIUM followed by a QUINTS BY SURPRISE: THE FIVE TURN FIVE update special with the Jones family.


TLC’s third TWEET TO WIN – LIVE event for LONG ISLAND MEDIUM gives viewers another chance to win a reading with Theresa by tweeting with the hashtag #LongIslandMedium beginning at 8pm through 11pm. During the live event, Theresa will randomly select two winners during segments within the commercial breaks and will announce them live on the air (all winners are subject to eligibility and rules of the contest). In the season finale at 9/8c, grab a beignet and join Theresa as she brings Long Island to New Orleans in the hour-long ON THE ROAD episode. As she brings surprise readings to the Big Easy, Theresa helps a woman heal from the death of her mother that tore her family apart and brings a hopeful message to a sick woman from her deceased father. Theresa also connects a woman with her son who died tragically and turns a skeptic into a believer by channeling his father who passed away decades ago.


And as a part of TLC’s Family Reunion where the network continues to revisit some familiar faces, viewers get a chance to catch up with the Jones family at 10/9c. From bottles to bicycles, the one-hour special shows the kids’ ever-growing personalities and highlights how parents, Ethan and Casey, juggle taking care of their bright brood while running a business and still making time for their relationship. Throughout the special, there is chaos combined with cuteness as the family preps for the quintuplets fifth birthday party – the very first friends’ sleepover! With more than ten kids sleeping over, Ethan and Casey have lots of planning to do for a party filled with family, food and fun!
