UniMás Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of March 17, 2014 to March 23, 2014

 

·         UniMás was the #2 Spanish-language network, beating Telemundo during the Monday-Friday 10 p.m. hour for the fourth consecutive week.

 

ü  UniMás’ 10 p.m. dramatic series “La Viuda Negra” out-delivered Telemundo’s “Camelia la Texana” on every night this past week among Adults 18-34.

 

ü   “La Viuda Negra” averaged more Total Viewers 2+ (1.2 Million, +8%), Adults 18-49 (624,000, +9%), and Adults 18-34 (336,000, +30%), making UniMás the #2 Spanish-language network during the Monday-Friday 10 p.m. hour.

 

·         Versus the same week a year ago (03/18/13- 03/24/13), UniMás reported double-digit percentage growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+24%), Adults 18-49 (+17%), and Adults 18-34 (+21%) viewers.

 

·         In the current 2013/2014 Season, UniMás reported primetime audience growth among Total Viewers 2+ (+3%) and Adults 18-49 (+3%) over the comparable weeks in the 2012/2013 season. 

 

·         On Monday night, UniMás was the #2 Spanish-language network, attracting more Adults 18-34 viewers (+18%) than Telemundo.

 

ü  UniMás reported week-over-week audience increases on Friday night among Adults 18-34 (+10% to 257,000).

 

ü  Airing head-to-head, “La Viuda Negra” attracted more Total Viewers 2+ (25%) and Adults 18-49 (+37%), and Adults 18-34 (+54%) than Telemundo’s 10 p.m. novela.  In fact, “La Viuda Negra” averaged more Total Viewers 2+, Adults 18-49, and Adults 18-34 than Telemundo’s entire primetime lineup.

 

·         UniMás, on average, more than doubled the combined audience of Estrella, Azteca, and MundoFox among Total Viewers 2+ (+101%) and Adults 18-49 (+116%) and more than tripled the combined Adults 18-34 (+204%) audience.
