UNIVISION NETWORK REACHES 5.7 MILLION VIEWERS SUNDAY NIGHT WITH THE GRAND FINALE OF “VA POR TI”


NEW YORK, NYDECEMBER 8, 2014 – Univision Communications Inc., the leading media company serving Hispanic America, today announced that Sunday’s 90-minute grand finale of hit singing competition, “Va Por Ti” (This One’s For You) reached 5.7 million Total Viewers 2+ who tuned in to all or part of the entire broadcast. Up by double-digit margins over its premiere broadcast in September 2014 among Total Viewers 2+, the grand finale delivered an average audience of 3.2 million Total Viewers 2+, nearly 1.6 million Adults 18-49 and 620,000 Adults 18-34.

 

ADDITIONAL NETWORK HIGHLIGHTS

 

The 90-minute finale of “Va Por Ti” on the Univision Network:

·         Ranked within the top 10 programs on all of broadcast television among Adults 18-34, out-delivering the entire original line-up on ABC (“America’s Funniest Home Videos,” “Resurrection” and “Revenge”) and CBS (“60 Minutes,” “I Love Lucy Christmas Special,” “The Mentalist” and “CSI”).

·         Averaged more Adult 18-49 viewers than ABC’s “Resurrection” and “Revenge” as well as CBS’ “The Mentalist.”

·         Increased its audience consistently every half hour with strong double-digit audience growth in the last half hour compared to the first half hour among Viewers 2+ (+42%), Adults 18-49 (+39%), Adults 18-34 (+31%) and Persons 12-34 (+37%).
