Univision Network Ranked No. 3 for the Third Consecutive Week Among Adults 18-34, Outperforming ABC and CBS

 

Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights – Week of December 29, 2014 to January 4, 2015

 

·         This week (M-SU), Univision Network ranked No. 3 in primetime for the third consecutive week among Adults 18-34, outperforming ABC and CBS.

ü  Univision out-delivered one or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) every night among Adults 18-34.

ü  Versus the same week last year, Univision reported growth among Adults 1834 (+7%) and Adults 18-49 (+3%) while all English-language broadcast networks reported declines.

ü  Univision aired 10 out of the top 25 primetime programs on all of broadcast television among Adults 18-34.

 

·         Mi Corazón es Tuyo” (My Heart is Yours) helped make Univision the No. 1 and No. 2 network, respectively, among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49 in the time period, outperforming ABC, NBC and FOX in each demographic.  The novela saw growth over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (+14% to 3.3 million), Adults 18-49 (+20% to 1.7 million) and Adults 18-34 (+18% to 841,000).

·         Airing Monday to Friday 9pm-10pm, “Hasta El Fin Del Mundo” (Until the End of Time) helped make Univision the No. 1 and No. 2 network, respectively, among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49 in the time period, outperforming NBC, CBS and FOX in each demographic.  The novela saw growth over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (+21% to 3.2 million), Adults 18-49 (+30% to 1.7 million) and Adults 18-34 (+24% to 752,000).

·         During the 10pm hour (Monday to Friday), “La Malquerida” (The Unloved) helped make Univision the No. 2 and No. 3 network, respectively, among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49 in the time period, outperforming NBC in each demographic.  The novela saw growth over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (+20% to 2.3 million), Adults 18-49 (+24% to 1.1 million) and Adults 18-34 (+20% to 541,000).

·         On Monday and Thursday night, Univision ranked as the No. 1 network among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs in each demographic on both nights.

·         On Tuesday and Friday night, Univision ranked as the No. 1 network among Adults 18-34 and No. 2 among Adults 18-49, out-delivering ABC, NBC and FOX in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs in each demographic on both nights.

·         Univision was the No. 3 network among Adults 18-34 and No. 4 with Adults 18-49 on Wednesday night (New Year’s Eve), out-delivering CBS in each demographic.  Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs with both demographics.

 

·         Univision ranked as the No. 2 network on Saturday night among both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, outperforming ABC, CBS and FOX in each demographic.  “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday) saw growth over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (+15% to 2.2 million), Adults 18-49 (+19% to 948,000) and Adults 18-34 (+23% to 440,000).
