Coby Ryan McLaughlin

via press release:

Coby Ryan McLaughlin (“The Secret Life of the American Teenager”) has been tapped in the recurring role of Archie in the sophomore season of USA’s hit drama series GRACELAND. The series, returning to USA this summer, focuses on the undercover lives of agents from the DEA, FBI and ICE who reside and operate under one roof. Inspired by true events, GRACELAND captured a broad freshman audience, averaging 4M total viewers. McLaughlin joins the previously announced Carmine Giovinazzo (“CSI:NY”) and Jon Sklaroff (“24”).

McLaughlin will guest star as Archie, a mainstay in the LAPD’s Gang Task Force. Sharp as a tack and loyal to a fault, the members of “Graceland” hope he’ll be an ally in their mission to destroy the cartel.

McLaughlin has recurred in several primetime series, including ABC Family’s “The Secret Life of the American Teenager,” A&E’s “The Glades,” ABC’s “Women’s Murder Club” as Dr.Luke Bowen and Fox’s “Back to You” alongside Kelsey Grammer and Patricia Heaton. McLaughlin made memorable appearances on other popular television shows including “Mike and Molly,” the popular “CSI” franchises: “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” and “CSI: NY,” as well as HBO’s “How to Make it in America,” “Shark” with James Woods and FOX’s crime drama “Bones.” McLaughlin’s talents have also found their way into the world of feature films with impressive work in the upcoming projects “Teachers” with Esai Morales and Loretta Devine and “Mountaintop.” Other film credits include roles in “The Trouble With Romance,” “A Leading Man” and the comedy “You Again.”

From Fox Television Studios, GRACELAND comes from creator and executive producer Jeff Eastin (WHITE COLLAR) and stars Daniel Sunjata (“Rescue Me”), Aaron Tveit (Les Miserables), Vanessa Ferlito (“The Sopranos”), Brandon Jay McLaren (“Falling Skies”), Serinda Swan (“Breakout Kings”) and Manny Montana (“Chicago Code”).
