WE TV INCREASES SEASON TWO EPISODE ORDER OF HIT ORIGINAL SERIES
“BRAXTON FAMILY VALUES”
Series Premieres in November 2011
NEW YORK, NY, July 12, 2011 –WE tv announced today that it has ordered an additional six episodes for season two of the network’s hit original series, “Braxton Family Values” for a total of 19 one-hour shows. Additionally, given viewer feedback and buzz around the series, WE tv has pushed up the premiere date from 2012 to Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at 9 pm, et/pt. Production is currently underway on the new season.
“WE tv’s viewers can’t get enough of the Braxton sisters and we can’t wait to give them more,” said John Miller, senior vice president, original productions & development. “Braxton Family Values is a perfect example of how WE tv, as a women’s network, is providing a unique and unfiltered view of what modern family life is really like today.”

“Braxton Family Values” stars singer/songwriter Toni Braxton, her four sisters – Tamar, Trina, Towanda and Traci – and their mom, Evelyn, as they navigate the drama created by the relationships among them. During the first season, viewers witnessed Trina’s drinking problem and resulting DUI, Towanda’s marital problems, Traci’s eagerness to resume a singing career with her sisters, Tamar’s dot disses (www.imsooverthis.org), Toni’s consideration of appearing in Playboy, and Evelyn’s dating woes.
Viewed by more than 26 million people during its first season, which premiered Tuesday, April 12, “Braxton Family Values” led WE tv to be the number one women’s network, and one of the top five networks among all ad-supported cable, for W18-49 and W25-54 on Tuesday nights (9-10 pm).
“Braxton Family Values” is produced by Magical Elves. John Miller and Annabelle McDonald serve as executive producers for WE tv.
