Here’s hoping this little experiment works! The rules:

To anyone wanting to play the game….we list the shows for each network, and we also have All-Stars categories by decades (80s, 90s – which was just completed today, congrats to Buffy! – 00s, and 10s) which right now have ended but we’ll start the games over again soon. Also: Premium Cable shows and Basic Cable shows, and a separate cable-only All-Stars category

To play, you simply copy and paste the list from whomever voted before you and give 3 points to one show, 2 points to another, and 1 point to a third, while taking 3, 2, 1 points from three different shows. When you have six or more shows on the list, you vote +3, -3, +2, -2, +1 and -1. If you have less than six shows but at least four remaining, you’d vote just +3, -3, +2 and -2. As shows get down to zero points they get ELIMINATED. When they reach 100 points, they are locked in the Victors’ Village until all shows are either victors or eliminated, at which point the Winners’ Circle begins. This is just for fun, and it shows the favorites and not-so-favorites of the voters. Also for fun, we like to submit show quotes from the network in question – and try to show the season and episode # so interested people might be able to track down that particular episode and watch it if they’d like to. If showing quotes with your votes, it might be best to keep each category in a separate post so they don’t get too long. Watch for if the person before you doesn’t vote in certain categories since you’ll want to vote from the most recent post, and check the math.

Daenerys Targaryen: Is it done then? They belong to me?
Missandei: [translates Master Kraznys who only speaks Valyrian] It is done. You hold the whip.
Master Kraznys: [in Valyrian] The bitch has her army.
Daenerys Targaryen: [in Valyrian] Unsullied! Forward march! [the Unsullied do so] Halt!
Master Kraznys: [in Valyrian] Tell the bitch her beast won’t come.

Master Kraznys: [in Valyrian] You speak Valyrian?
Daenerys Targaryen: [in Valyrian] I am Daenerys Stormborn of House Targaryen, of the blood of Old Valyria. Valyrian is my mother tongue. [turns to the Unsullied] Unsullied! Slay the masters, slay the soldiers, slay every man who holds a whip, but harm no child. Strike the chains of every slave you see! [the Unsullied begin slaughtering the Astapori slavers]
Master Kraznys: [in Valyrian] I am your master. Kill her! Kill her!

from Angel 1.03 “In the Dark”

[Angel has just saved Rachel from a violently abusive boyfriend, while Spike watches — and narrates — from the rooftop.]
Spike [as Rachel, falsetto]: How can I thank you, you mysterious, black-clad, hunk of a night thing?
Spike [as Angel, basso]: No need, little lady, your tears of gratitude are enough for me. You see, I was once a bad-ass vampire, but love and a pesky curse defanged me. Now I’m just a big, fluffy puppy with bad teeth. [Rachel sways closer to Angel; he steps back, warding her off with his hands.] No, not the hair! Never the hair!
Spike [as Rachel]: But there must be some way I can show my appreciation.
Spike [as Angel]: No, helping those in need’s my job. And working up a load of sexual tension and prancing away like a magnificent poof is truly thanks enough!
    Spike [as Rachel]: I understand. I have a nephew who’s gay, so…
Spike [as Angel]: Ah. Say no more. Evil’s still afoot … and I’m almost out of that nancy-boy hair gel that I like so much. Quickly! To the Angelmobile — AWAY! [Rachel and Angel leave. Spike lights a cigarette.]
Spike [as Spike]: Go on, Liam. Play the big, strapping hero while you can. You have a few surprises coming your way—the Ring of Amarra, a visit from your old pal Spike, and—oh, yeah—your gruesome, horrible death.
