Baseball Tonight: Gameday to Provide All-Access Coverage Prior to Red Sox-Rangers

John Kruk & Ozzie Guillen to Appear on Baseball Tonight Together for First Time; Adnan Virk, Eduardo Perez Pull Double Duty


ESPN2 today will televise Baseball Tonight: Gameday from 4:30-6:30 p.m. ET prior to tonight’s Monday Night Baseball telecast – Texas Rangers at Boston Red Sox – at 7 p.m. on ESPN. Gameday will provide viewers with an all-access look at the sights and sounds inside of Fenway Park leading into the game. Baseball Tonight host Adnan Virk will be joined on site at Fenway by analysts Aaron Boone, Eduardo Perez and reporter Tim Kurkjian.


Baseball Tonight: Gameday will include:

Ø  live look-ins to Red Sox and Rangers batting practice;

Ø  highlights from manager press conferences;

Ø  player and batting practice coach interviews;

Ø  batting practice swing breakdowns and analysis;

Ø  Twitter questions using hashtag #TEXvsBOS.

ESPN will televise two additional episodes of Baseball Tonight after Monday Night Baseball. At 10 p.m., Karl Ravech will be joined by analysts John Kruk and Ozzie Guillen, who will be appearing together on Baseball Tonight for the first time. At 1 a.m., Virk and Perez will return to ESPN’s Bristol studios for the late edition of Baseball Tonight. They’ll be joined by Chris Singleton.


*Tonight’s Red Sox-Rangers game will be subject to local blackout in Boston.
