The final run to the PGA TOUR Playoffs for the FedExCup is this weekend at the WYNDHAM CHAMPIONSHIP, the last event of the PGA TOUR’s regular-season, as CBS Sports broadcasts third- and final-round coverage of the Wyndham Championship from historic Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C., on Saturday, Aug. 17 (3:30-6:30 PM, ET) and Sunday, Aug. 18 (3:00-6:00 PM, ET), live on the CBS Television Network.


Bill Macatee and analyst Ian Baker-Finch provide commentary from the 18th tower.  Peter Oosterhuis calls the shots from the 17th tower.  David Feherty calls the action at the 16th hole.


As the final event in the PGA TOUR season, the Wyndham Championship offers the last opportunity for players to boost their FedEx positions heading into the Playoffs, and to earn a spot in the first Playoff event, The Barclays.  Defending champion Sergio Garcia returns to defend his title after defeating Tim Clark by two shots last year.  The 73rd playing of the Wyndham Championship has a strong field of players looking to improve their Playoff position for the FedExCup including seven past champions: Garcia, Webb Simpson (2011), Arjun Atwal (2010), Carl Pettersson (2008), Brandt Snedeker (2007), Davis Love III (2006, 1992) and K.J. Choi (2005); 15 major championship winners including Ernie Els, Padraig Harrington, Vijay Singh, Stewart Cink, Ben Curtis, Lucas Glover, Trevor Immelman, Zach Johnson, Martin Kaymer, Justin Leonard, David Toms, Y.E. Yang, Mike Weir, and Love III and Simpson; as well as Bill Haas, Nick Watney, Jordan Spieth, Hideki Matsuyama, Ryo Ishikawa, Camilo Villegas, Jason Bohn, Robert Karlsson, Robert Allenby, Boo Weekley, Stuart Appleby, Kevin Stadler and Chris DiMarco are among those competing at the Wyndham Championship.


After the Wyndham Championship, the top 125 point earners will make the field at THE BARCLAYS, the first of the four PGA TOUR FedExCup Playoff tournamentsCBS Sports will broadcast the third- and final rounds of The Barclays on Saturday, Aug. 24 (3:00-6:00 PM, ET) and Sunday, Aug. 25 (2:00-6:00 PM, ET), live from Liberty National Golf Course in Jersey City, N.J.
