CBS SPORTS NETWORK FEATURES COVERAGE OF

COLLEGE BASKETALL CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK

 

Network to Feature Mountain West, Atlantic 10, Conference USA and Patriot League Action

 

CBS Sports Network’s coverage of college basketball championship week features action from the Mountain West, Atlantic 10, Conference USA and Patriot League tournaments, as well as live studio programming providing the latest news, highlights and analysis leading up to Selection Sunday.

 

Coverage tips off with the Patriot League Championship Men’s Basketball Semifinals on Saturday, March 8. Army visits Boston University (3:30 PM, ET) at Agganis Arena in Boston, Mass. in the first semifinal, followed by Holy Cross at American (5:30 PM, ET) from Bender Arena in Washington, D.C. Jason Knapp and Chris Spatola announce the first game, while Sean Grande and Chris Walker handle the call for the later matchup. Patriot League action returns to CBS Sports Network on Wednesday, March 12 with the Championship game (7:30 PM, ET), and an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament on the line.

 

On Thursday, March 13, CBS Sports Network features the Reese’s Mountain West Basketball Championship Quarterfinals (3:00 PM, 5:30 PM, 9:00 PM and 11:30 PM, ET) from Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nev. Play-by-play announcers Rich Waltz and Andrew Catalon call the action, along with analysts Doug Gottlieb and Steve Lappas and reporter Lauren Gardner. 

 

Conference tournament coverage continues on Friday, March 14 with the Conference USA Men’s Basketball Championship Semifinals (4:00 PM and 6:30 PM, ET) from Don Haskins Center in El Paso, Texas. CBS Sports Network returns to Las Vegas for the Mountain West Men’s Basketball Championship Semifinals (9:00 PM and 11:30 PM, ET) to wrap up the day’s live action.

 

On Saturday, March 15 CBS Sports Network features the Atlantic 10 Men’s Basketball Championship Semifinals (1:30 PM and 4:00 PM, ET) from Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. Tom McCarthy and Alaa Abdelnaby announce, along with reporter Susannah Collins.

 

CBS Sports Network’s coverage also features women’s basketball, including the Atlantic 10 Women’s Basketball Championship Semifinals on Saturday, March 8 (11:00 AM and 1:30 PM, ET) from Richmond Coliseum in Richmond, Va. Ed Cohen and Julianne Viani announce.

 

Women’s hoops coverage continues on Friday, March 14 with the Conference USA Women’s Basketball Championship Semifinals (11:00 AM and 1:30 PM, ET) and on Saturday, March 15 with the Patriot League Women’s Basketball Championship (6:00 PM, ET), C-USA Women’s Basketball Championship (8:00 PM, ET) and Mountain West Women’s Basketball Championship (10:00 PM, ET). The Southland Conference Women’s Basketball Championship on Sunday, March 16 wraps up conference championship week on CBS Sports Network.

 

In addition to live game coverage, CBS Sports Network’s studio show INSIDE COLLEGE BASKETALL: BRACKET WEEK keeps fans updated with championship week highlights from across the country, as well as the latest college basketball news and analysis. Adam Zucker, Brent Stover and Dana Jacobson anchor coverage, and are joined by analysts Mateen Cleaves, Wally Szczberbiak, Pete Gillen, Steve Lappas and Swin Cash, as well as insiders Gary Parrish and Jon Rothstein and CBSSports.com Bracketology expert Jerry Palm.
