CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD was the #1 Sunday morning news program with adults 25-54 – the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news – as well as viewers and households, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for June 23, 2013.
CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted a 3.2/10 with 4.66m viewers and a 1.3/07 in adults 25-54. Compared to the same day last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +18% in adults 25-54 (from 1.1/06), +8% in viewers (from 4.30m) and even in households.
Television year-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is up +7% in adults 25-54 (1.5/07 from 1.4/07), up +8% in viewers (5.63m from 5.19m) and up +5% in households (3.9/11 from 3.7/10) compared to last year.
Sunday’s broadcast featured an encore of “The Money Issue,” anchored by Anthony Mason and including John Blackstone’s report on the “shared economy,” business ventures built on sharing products or homes; Martha Teichner’s look at the research labs at Good Housekeeping; Tracy Smith’s profile of rapper and entrepreneur 50 Cent; Rita Braver’s interview with AOL co-founder Steve Case; and Bill Geist’s story on the boom in erotic romance novels.
