CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD was the #1 Sunday morning news program in adults 25-54 – the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news – viewers and households, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for May 12, 2013.
CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted a 3.6/10 with 5.20m viewers and a 1.3/07 in adults 25-54. Compared to the same day last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +2% in viewers (from 5.09m), even in both adults 25-54 and households.
Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is up +7% in both adults 25-54 (1.5/07 from 1.4/07) and viewers (5.67m from 5.28m), and up +8% in households (4.0/11 from 3.7/10), compared to last year.
Sunday’s broadcast featured Tracy Smith’s report looking at couples choosing to remain childless, Rita Braver’s profile of Tom Hanks, Lee Cowan’s interview with singer Natalie Maines, and Lesley Stahl’s talk with acting legend Sidney Poitier.
