Games Feature Action from The American, Big East, Atlantic 10, Mountain West and Conference USA



CBS Sports Network features three college basketball double-headers this week, beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 7 with Saint Louis at Rhode Island (7:00 PM, ET) and Cincinnati at Houston (9:00 PM, ET). Tom McCarthy and analyst Chris Walker announce Saint Louis-Rhode Island from The Ryan Center in Kingston, R.I., while Brad Johansen and Steve Wolf handle the call for Cincinnati-Houston at Hofheinz Pavilion in Houston, Texas.

College hoops action on Wednesday, Jan. 8 tips off with *No. 8-ranked Villanova at Seton Hall in a special all-access audio telecast. Andrew Catalon and Steve Lappas announce from the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., where CBS Sports Network will have 30 microphones at court level providing viewers with unprecedented access and sound from coaches, players and referees.


Following Villanova-Seton Hall, Nevada visits UNLV (9:00 PM, ET) at Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nev. Rich Waltz, analyst Doug Gottlieb and reporter Lauren Gardner call the action.


Action continues on Thursday, Jan. 9 with an Atlantic 10 match-up between George Mason and VCU (7:00 PM, ET) from Verizon Wireless Arena in Richmond, Va. Tom McCarthy and Alaa Abdelnaby announce. Thursday’s action concludes with Charlotte at UTEP (9:00 PM, ET). Brent Stover and Bob Wenzel handle the call from Don Haskins Center in El Paso, Texas.


INSIDE COLLEGE BASKETBALL (6:30 PM and 11:00 PM, ET) provides pre-game and post-game coverage each night with news, highlights and analysis from across the country. Brent Stover, Adam Zucker and Dana Jacobson host, along with analysts Pete Gillen, Wally Szczerbiak and Mateen Cleaves and insiders Seth Davis and Jon Rothstein.
