“LIVE with Kelly and Michael” National Ratings

During the week of July 22, 2013, which included the final 3 days of the 2013 July Sweep, “LIVE with Kelly and Michael” stood as the No. 1 syndicated talk show in Households (2.5 rating-tie) and Women 25-54 (1.5 rating-tie). In fact, “LIVE” has finished as the week’s No. 1 talker in Homes in 3 of the last 4 weeks, and in Women 25-54 in 5 of the last 6 weeks.

 

  • Heading to the Great White Way during the week, “Broadway on LIVE” Week was up over the prior week by 4% in Homes (2.5 vs. 2.4), by 5% in Total Viewers (3.343 million vs. 3.178 million) and by 7% in Women 25-54 (1.5 vs. 1.4) to match its best HH rating and draw its largest overall audience in 8 weeks – since the week of 5/27/13.

 

  • Monday’s telecast (on 7/22/13), which saw host Kelly Ripa backstage at the Tony Award-winning musical “Pippin,” was the show’s top-rated for any telecast in HHs (2.7) and Women 25-54 (1.6) in nearly 3 months – since 5/6/13 and 4/29/13, respectively.

 

During the 2013 July Sweep, “LIVE with Kelly and Michael” ranked as the No. 1 syndie talk show in Households (2.5 rating-tie) and Women 25-54 (1.5 rating), beating both “Dr. Phil” and “Ellen” on the latter measure despite “LIVE’s” early time periods with lower overall TV usage levels.

 

  • “LIVE” grew its overall audience from the 2013 May Sweep (3.264 million vs. 3.243 million), while retaining 100% of its May numbers in Homes and Women 25-54.

 

  • “LIVE” was up over the year-ago July sweep by 9% in Homes (2.5 vs. 2.3), by 9% in Total Viewers (3.264 million vs. 3.003 million) and by 15% in Women 25-54 (1.5 vs. 1.3) to deliver its strongest July sweep in 5 years – since 2008.
