> season-high 3.1 rating, NBC’s best in-season average since Super Bowl
> week. In total viewers, NBC’s 8.8 million is also an in-season high
> since Super Bowl week.
> Versus the same week last year, NBC is up 29% in 18-49 (3.1 vs. 2.4)
> and up 30% in total viewers (8.8 million vs. 6.8 million). The other
> Big 4 networks are all down versus the same week last year by
> double-digit percentages in both categories.
> Season to date, NBC is now up 23 percent versus one year ago (3.2 vs.
> 2.6), the biggest increase for any network at this point in the season
> in three years (since Fox was up 23 percent in 2009) and biggest
> increase for NBC at this point in the season in the 25-year history of
> people meters. NBC has moved from #4 at this point last year to #1
> this year
> NBC has now won six of the season’s first seven weeks in 18-49,
> finishing #2 only during the week Fox carried four World Series games.
> It’s the first time in 10 years NBC has won six of the opening seven
> NBC is #1 outright season to date in 18-49 for the first time at this
> point of the season in 10 years.
> For the season, NBC now has a 14% lead over second place (3.2 vs. 2.8
