In-Depth Look at Week 10 Matchups between Saints-Falcons and Cowboys-Eagles

Spotlight Look at Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos

New York – November 13, 2012 – Emmy-nominated NFL Turning Point, NBC Sports Network’s weekly NFL show co-produced by NFL Films, airs this Wednesday at 10:00 p.m. ET. In this week’s episode: NFL Turning Point examines the high-scoring duel between the New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Falcons; how Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys outplayed the Philadelphia Eagles in a key NFC East matchup; and a spotlight look at Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. In addition, Football Night In America’s Tony Dungy and Rodney Harrison will breakdown the keys to this Sunday’s Baltimore Ravens-Pittsburgh Steelers matchup.

Hosted by Football Night In America’s Dan Patrick, the hour-long program airs throughout the entire NFL season, including the playoffs and Super Bowl.

This week’s episode will include:

– An in-depth look at the Saints–Falcons, and how Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints were able to beat Matt Ryan and the previously undefeated Atlanta Falcons. NFL Turning Point compares the performances of Falcons TE Tony Gonzalez and Saints TE Jimmy Graham, and examines Atlanta’s inability to score in the red zone.

– NFL Turning Point explores the Cowboys-Eagles, and how Tony Romo was able to lead Dallas to a win over Philadelphia. NFL Films looks at the continuing struggles of Philadelphia’s offense line and how Dallas was able to apply constant pressure on Michael Vick. NFL Turning Point also reviews the fourth quarter of the game, including Cowboys WR Dwayne Harris’ 78-yard punt return for a touchdown, which triggered a series of events that ended the game for the Eagles.

– The program shines a spotlight on Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. Manning is wired for sound as NFL Films breaks down Sunday’s Broncos-Panthers game. The segment also takes a look back at the first 10 weeks of Manning’s season in Denver.

– Football Night In America’s Rodney Harrison and Tony Dungy look ahead to this Sunday’s Ravens-Steelers matchup, breaking down the keys to the game for both teams.

Each week NFL Turning Point will be built around select NFL match-ups from the previous weekend, and will focus on the crucial “turning point” moments that ultimately defined the outcome of each game. The show will feature anatomy-of-a-play type segments and long form, Game-of-the-Week style narratives that include the pre-game and post-game access, sideline sounds, jaw-dropping cinematography and incredible storytelling that is synonymous with NFL Films.

Earlier this year NFL Films and NBC Sports Group agreed to renew the Emmy-nominated NFL Turning Point, for the 2012, 2013, and 2014 seasons. This year, NBC Sports Network will air a total of 22 episodes, running throughout the entire NFL season, including the playoffs and Super Bowl. The season finale, scheduled to air on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, will look back at the turning point of Super Bowl XLVII.
