NICKELODEON PRESCHOOL CELEBRATES MOTHER’S DAY
WITH BRAND-NEW PETER RABBIT
PREMIERING WEDNESDAY, MAY 8, AT 12PM (ET/PT)
Network to Air Mom-Themed Marathon of Preschool Favorites on Friday, May 10
NEW YORK, April 26, 2013 – Nickelodeon pays tribute to mothers with a brand-new episode of the hit CG-animated preschool series, Peter Rabbit, premiering Wednesday, May 8, at 12 p.m. (ET/PT). The half-hour adventure follows Peter and his best friends Benjamin and Lily as they search for a last-minute Mother’s Day present for Peter’s mom. The celebration culminates with a mom-themed marathon featuring episodes of preschool hits Dora the Explorer, Team Umizoomi, Bubble Guppies, and Max & Ruby, on Friday, May 10, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. (ET/PT). Peter Rabbit airs regularly weekdays at 12 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon.
In “The Tale of the Mother’s Day Pie,” Peter forgets to get his mother a present for Mother’s Day so he goes on a hunt for strawberries to make his mother’s favorite pie. Peter, Benjamin and Lily find strawberries in Mr. Tod’s yard, but must make a quick escape before the conniving fox makes them dinner.
Peter Rabbit is a fresh re-imagining of the popular Beatrix Potter children’s books based on Peter Rabbit, which have sold over 250 million copies worldwide and been translated into 35 languages.
