NHL Live Studio Coverage To Originate From Downtown Phoenix During Super Bowl Week

STAMFORD, Conn. – Jan. 5, 2015 – NBCSN presents more than 25 hours of hockey coverage this week, including four NHL matchups and three college hockey games, highlighted by a doubleheader on Wednesday night featuring Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins against Patrice Bergeron and the Boston Bruins on Wednesday Night Rivalry at 8 p.m. ET. Coverage continues with a Wednesday nightcap at 10:30 p.m. ET, when Ryan Getzlaf and the NHL-leading Anaheim Ducks host Henrik Lundqvist and the New York Rangers.

This week’s NHL coverage begins tomorrow night at 8 p.m. ET on NBCSN, when Logan Couture and the San Jose Sharks visit Zach Parise and the Minnesota Wild. Coverage concludes on Sunday night at 8 p.m. ET, when Parise and the Wild travel to Chicago to face Patrick Kane and the Blackhawks.

NBCSN’s NHL pre-game coverage begins at 7 p.m. ET with NHL Live. Liam McHugh anchors Tuesday night’s coverage alongside Jeremy Roenick and Keith Jones, and hosts Wednesday night’s coverage with Mike Milbury, Roenick, Jones and NHL insider Bob McKenzie.

NBCSN continues its 2014-15 college hockey coverage with three games this week, highlighted by the “Rivalry On Ice” between the No. 3 Harvard Crimson and the No. 19 Yale Bulldogs from Madison Square Garden on Saturday night at 8 p.m. ET. Coverage begins Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET with the New Hampshire Wildcats hosting the Dartmouth Big Green, and continues Saturday at 6 p.m. ET with the Western Michigan Broncos against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
