Nickelodeon celebrates Columbus Day with “Nick’s Best Day Off Ever” as the network presents new animated and live-action premieres on Monday, Oct. 10. Kids can enjoy the holiday, and a day off from school, along with their favorite Nickelodeon stars and new episodes of their favorite Nick shows all day long.
Kicking off at 10:00 a.m. ET/PT, are back-to-back brand-new episodes of two hit animated series T.U.F.F. Puppy and The Penguins of Madagascar. Don’t miss the craziness that America’s favorite pup and penguins get themselves into!
Then it’s a battle of the brains with new episodes of Family BrainSurge hosted by Jeff Sutphen kicking off Monday at 6:00 p.m. ET/PT with cast members of Nickelodeon’s Victorious, iCarly, Supah Ninjas, Bucket & Skinner’s Epic Adventures and House of Anubis. Family BrainSurge premieres will continue to roll out Tuesday – Thursday at 6 p.m. On Tuesday, Oct. 11, celebrities play with their families including Larry King, Vanessa Williams, Joey Fatone, Candace Cameron Bure and Anthony Anderson. Celebrity family fun continues on Wednesday, Oct. 13, with Jennie Garth, Nolan Gould, Terry Crews, Nicole Eggert and Charles Shaughnessy. And, the WWE brings the competition to a new level on Thursday, Oct. 13, when The Miz, John Morrison, Kofi Kingston, Eve and Gail King partner with kids from the audience to play.
The boys of Big Time Rush are on “Big Time Strike” after Gustavo uses zapping techniques as a way to get them to work harder. All they want is for the tasing to stop, but Kendall’s sister, Katie, makes the band compile a list of outrageous demands. Will the guys call it quits before their new album hits or will they put down the picket signs and pick up their mics? Big Time Rush refuses to rock at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT. This episode features a musical performance of the group’s brand-new song “Superstar.”
The day of programming culminates with a brand-new episode of Supah Ninjas titled “Snakeskin” at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT. Since dedicating all her free time to crime fighting, Amanda has begun to lose her status among the popular kids in school and, to everyone’s surprise, is not invited to the biggest party of the year. Not to be outdone, Owen decides to throw his own party at Mike’s house for all the kids who were excluded. Meanwhile, the Supah Ninjas must stop the toxic villainess, Snakeskin, when she targets the popular kids as retribution for her own miserable high school experience.
