Syfy’s new hit series Paranormal Witness is sending chills down viewers’ spines, and the upcoming ghost story is one of the scariest yet.  Premiering Wednesday, September 28 at 10:00 PM ET/PT, “The Haunting of Mansfield Mansion” will terrify even the biggest skeptics.

In “The Haunting of Mansfield Mansion,” Amy Moore cannot believe her luck when her bid is accepted on her dream home, a rundown Connecticut mansion at a knockdown price. Amy wants to restore the three-story, nine-bedroom house to its former glory.  She begins renovations one late night after work, but as she starts scraping away the moldy wallpaper and knocking down walls, she also disturbs an angry spirit who seems to be hiding an evil secret about the old house. The evil spirit within soon terrorizes Amy and her family and they learn of the tragic history of the property, a former mental asylum where patients were mistreated and abused.

Paranormal Witness is a tense, filmic and high-octane drama-documentary series that brings to life the real stories of people who have lived through paranormal experiences that defy explanation. Using a mixture of intimate first-hand testimony and gritty realistic drama, ParanormaWitness transports viewers into a world turned upside-down by extraordinary, terrifying and sometimes life-threatening paranormal events.

Paranormal Witness is produced by Raw TV (Locked Up Abroad and Gold Rush Alaska). Executive producers are Dimitri Doganis and Bart Layton.
