THE “CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY” ADDS +920,000 VIEWERS COMPARED TO LAST YEAR
The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY posted year-to-year increases in adults 25-54 (+8%, 1.4/06 from 1.3/05) – the demographic most important to those who advertise in news – as well as viewers (+16%, 6.63m from 5.71m) and households (+10%, 4.4/09 from 4.0/08), according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Oct. 4.
The CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY gained +920,000 viewers compared to the same week last year.
Season-to-date, the CBS EVENING NEWS WITH SCOTT PELLEY also posted gains among viewers (+7%, 6.39m from 5.95m) and households (+2%, 4.2/09 from 4.1/08).
