via MTV:  please note, when you see a number like 2.28 below, it is <i>not</i> measuring number of viewers and isn’t 2.28 million average audience.  Rather these are the ratings points, out a decimal point further than we’re typically used to seeing (I wish we got all ratings to the one hundredth of a ratings point!).  Also note, these are the coverage ratings and not household ratings.  Coverage ratings measure against only the population who receive MTV in their homes and household ratings are the total population of TV homes, whether they have MTV or not.  Again, these are coverage ratings.

America’s Best Dance Crew #1 in P12-34

  • America’s Best Dance Crew ranked as the #1 cable telecast of the day among P12-34
  • MTV delivered its strongest Thursday P12-34 L+SD rating since at least August 2008
  • America’s Best Dance Crew is up week to week by 13% (2.28 vs. 2.02, P12-34) and delivered its strongest rating in the demo in three weeks.
  • Making the Band 4 is up 12% versus its week-ago season premiere (1.35 vs. 1.21).
