In week 28 of the broadcast television season ending Sunday, April 1, 2012 CBS cinched the lead for adults 18-49 with a 2.8 adults 18-49 rating average. FOX came in second with a 2.2 adults 18-49 rating average, and ABC was third with 1.8 average adults 18-49 rating, NBC was fourth with a 1.6, and Univision was fifth with a 1.4 adults 18-49 rating. The CW finished sixth with a 0.6 adults 18-49 rating average.
CBS also won the week with total viewers, averaging 11.53 million viewers, ahead of second place ABC with 7.53 million viewers. FOX was third with 6.71 million, followed by NBC with 4.87 million Univision with 3.61 million, and the CW with 1.38 million.
Each adults 18-49 rating point is a percentage of the adults 18-49 US TV population and equals 1.279 million adults 18-49.
