Yet again, Fox buried the broadcast primetime competition last week in the adults 18-49 ratings by a wide margin. Fox and NBC were mostly in original episodes, while ABC and CBS had a mix of new and repeats. Expect almost all new episodes for the final 3 weeks of the season.
Even with original episodes, NBC again did pitifully, and as I guessed last week, because of rounding NBC has slipped back into a tie with ABC for season to date adults 18-49 (I’ll have the season to date ratings chart up tomorrow).
Note that the chart includes RATINGS not VIEWERS as was typical in our weekly network ratings posts prior to July, 2009.
Each rating point is a percentage of the US TV population in that demographic group and equals: 2.90 million viewers, 1.32 million adults 18-49, 0.68 million adults 18-34 and 1.24 million adults 25-54.
