With the Sugar Bowl in primetime and a lineup of new animated episodes on Sunday night, Fox had little trouble dominating the primetime adult demo ratings categories for week 15 of the broadcast primetime season. Except for Sunday, it was mostly a specials and repeats week across broadcast which held ratings to below average levels, although ABC’s Sunday lineup of new episodes helped put it in second place for both adults 18-49 and 18-34. Even with nearly 100% repeats, CBS managed to top the average viewership for the week.

Note: The heading in the chart is in error. The ratings data is through January 3, 2010.

Note that the chart includes RATINGS not VIEWERS as was typical in our weekly network ratings posts prior to July, 2009.

Each rating point is a percentage of the US TV population in that demographic group and equals: 2.90 million viewers, 1.32 million adults 18-49, 0.68 million adults 18-34 and 1.24 million adults 25-54.
