Similar to the ratings trend for CNN’s AC360 the dog days of summer, and the cooling of the Michael Jackson story, have not been positive for CNN’s Campbell Brown.

In August the show’s ratings fell to their second lowest monthly levels in 2009 for P2+ viewing and third lowest for the cable news advertiser targeted adults 25-54 demo. The show’s August, 2009 viewing was also down 4% in the A25-54 demo vs. Aug 2008, which included the Democratic National Convention.Campbell Brown Aug09
