Univision Is The #4 Network in America In Overall Prime

Among All Adults 18-34 and Teens 12-17 for Second Consecutive Week

  • For the second consecutive week,Univision was the #4 network in America in overall prime among all Adults 18-34 (1.3 million) and Teens 12-17 (216,000), regardless of language.

  • Univision out-delivered ABC, CBS, NBC, or FOX on 6 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-34, 4 out of 7 nights among Adults 18-49 and on 4 out of 7 nights among Teens 12-17.

  • On Friday night, Univision was the #2 network in overall prime among all Adults 18-34 (1.4 million), Teens 12-17 (269,000) and among Adults 18-49 (2.5 million) Univision was the #3 primetime network.

  • For the 5th consecutive week, Univision was the #2 ranked network for the entire week in primetime among Kids 2-11 (587,000), out-delivering ABC, CBS, NBC and CW. Additionally, Univision was the #5 ranked primetime network among Adults 18-49 (2.3 million), Persons 2+ (4.3 million) and Households (2.5 million).

  • Univision had 3 of the Top 30 programs of the week among Adults 18-34.

  • Thursday night’s broadcast ofthe 21st edition of“Premio Lo Nuestro a la Música Latina®” Awards delivered its highest average audience ever with 6.6 million Total Viewers 2+ and 3.8 million Adults 18-49.

  • “Premio Lo NuestroTM” also made Univision the #3 broadcast network for the night, beating CBS, NBC and the CW among Adults 18-34 with 2.2 million viewers. Additionally, it ranked as the #3 broadcast network among Teens 12-17 (380,000), beating ABC, NBC and CW and among Persons 12-34 (2,550,000), beating CBS, NBC and CW.

  • On this very competitive night, the 2009 “Premio Lo Nuestro” telecast delivered more Adults 18-34 and 18-49 than the original episodes of the following English-language programs on this night; ABC’s “In the Motherhood” (premiere episode) and “Samantha Who?”, NBC’s “My Name is Earl” and the CW’s entire programming line-up: “Smallville” and “Supernatural”.

  • “Cuidado Con El Angel” (Don’t Mess with the Angel) made Univision the #2 network in the M-F 8pm to 9pm time period among all Adults 18-34 (1.6 million) and Teens 12-17 (317,000), beating ABC, CBS, NBC and CW.
  • Univision’s “Mañana Es Para Siempre” (Tomorrow is Forever) ranked #3 in the M-F 9pm to 10pm hour among Adults 18-34 (1.9 million).
  • Thanks to “Nuestra Belleza Latina” (Our Latin Beauty), Univision holds strong as the #4 ranked networkin the Sunday 8-10pm time periodamong Adults 18-34 (1.2 million) and Teens (173,000) out-delivering NBC and CW.

  • Season-to-date, Univision has a +3% growth in primetime among Adults 18-49 while ABC (-5%), NBC (-4%), FOX (-20%) and CW (-20%) show declines versus the comparable weeks last season.
