The race portion of the Kentucky Derby, won by Calvin Borel’s Super Saver, drew a 10.3/22 overnight rating on NBC Saturday — up a tick from last year (10.2/22)

As Sports Media Watch notes, even though it was just up a tenth of a ratings point from last year, it was the highest preliminary overnight rating since 1992. More, including a chart of overnight ratings back to 2002 at Sports Media Watch.

Note that the historical ratings we have for Kentucky Derby telecasts since 1975 are the final ratings, not the preliminary overnight ratings reported by Sports Media Watch. I’d expect to see final ratings in a press release from NBC on Monday.
