Murphy’s Law

The 100 premiered to a strong 0.9 adults 18-49 rating four weeks ago. It seemed like it was going to be a big hit for the CW, which diminished The Tomorrow People’s chances for renewal. But the show has steadily declined week to week. Its second episode garnered a 0.7. Week three notched a 0.6. Last week it earned a 0.5. If that trend continues, it will hit a 0.4 adults 18-49 rating tonight, tying this week’s installment of The Tomorrow People and making it tough to predict which show is more likely to be renewed. On the other hand, with the fading American Idol and Mixology as its only broadcast original competition, the show’s ratings could rise. What do you think will happen?
