In a second in the series of “You be the programmer”, what would your ABC Fall 2010 schedule look like?

As in 2009, ABC’s 2010 schedule is certain to be packed with new shows, since the failure rate for their shows this season has been high. Would you put those new shows in the same slots as last season’s new shows, or try and move around some veterans to give a few rookies some bigger lead ins?

I’m usually of a mind that the less changes in a schedule the better (and the more likely outcome in reality), but I am swayed by the notion that the slots after Desperate Housewives and DWTS on Monday need to get used to launch some new dramas.

Also, I don’t think ABC should kid themselves about the drama they slot Thursday at 8pm. Forget trying to go after men (unlike pretty much every other show on your network), and put an overtly female targeted drama there. I could also see putting the DWTS results show at 8pm Tuesday, and premiering a new drama at 9. (We’ll all know ABC’s schedule on May 18):
