Two primetime NFL games carried NBC to a big ratings win in the week of Sept. 4.

The network snagged five of the top seven spots among adults 18-49 for the week and six of the first seven in total viewers. “Sunday Night Football” (9.1 in the 18-49 demo, 24.37 million viewers) finished first in both measures.

The NFL and the premiere of “The Orville” pushed FOX into second place among adults 18-49 for the week. “The Orville’s” 2.7 rating was the best non-football number of the week.
