It was a sports-heavy week atop the cable rankings, with a pair of NFL games and coverage of the Major League Baseball playoffs on two channels dominating the top of the charts.

“Monday Night Football” held onto its No. 1 spot with a 3.3 rating in adults 18-49 and 9.05 million viewers, although it was down considerably from the previous week’s 4.7 and 13.17 million.

Fox Sports 1 got strong numbers from its coverage of the National League playoffs, topped by a 2.1 and 7.29 million viewers for Game 2 of the NL Championship Series between the Cubs and Dodgers. Sports captured seven of the Top 8 spots in adults 18-49 and all eight top places in viewers.

The top non-sports shows for the week were “American Horror Story: Roanoke” in adults 18-49 (1.5) and the Wednesday “O’Reilly Factor” in viewers (3.73 million).
