After taking a week off, “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” managed to find its footing again in the week of April 17-21. Airing on NBC, the late night series scored a 0.64 rating in adults 18-49, much higher than the 0.51 it scored the week before. Meanwhile, “Late Night with Seth Meyers” took the week off once again, but still managed to tick up slightly from a 0.30 to a 0.34.
Despite taking a hit from April 10-14 as well, CBS’ “Late Show with Stephen Colbert” rose back up six-hundredths of a point from its previous 0.39 to a 0.45. This put the series back above its ABC competition, “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” which dipped from a 0.46 to a 0.40. “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” however, experienced a minor increase, rising from its previous 0.24 to a 0.26 rating on CBS.
In cable, “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” returned with a 0.29 on Comedy Central, while TBS’ “Conan” dropped to a 0.23, one-hundredth of a point less than the 0.24 it scored in the week before.
