In the week of June 12-16, 2017, “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” finally started to tick up again, after several weeks with consistently lower numbers than the series is used to. On NBC, “Fallon” rose five-hundredths of a point from its previous 0.63 to a 0.68 rating in adults 18-49 this week, putting it back on top in the 11:35 p.m. time slot. Meanwhile, “Late Night with Seth Meyers” also experienced a noticeable increase from a 0.32 to a 0.38.
But while it was an up week for NBC, the same could not be said for CBS. “Late Show with Stephen Colbert” first dropped from a 0.48 to a 0.43 this week, while “The Late Late Show with James Corden” fell one-hundredth of a point from a 0.25 to a 0.24. On ABC, “Jimmy Kimmel Live” also noticeably dropped from its previous 0.70 to a 0.53.
In cable, Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” also fell from a 0.34 to a 0.33, while “Conan” grabbed a 0.20, four-hundredths lower than the 0.24 it had scored in the week before.
