Continuing a pattern that began in the first week of the year, “Judge Judy” and “Family Feud” traded places in the syndication rankings for the week of Jan. 29.
“Judge Judy” reclaimed the No. 1 spot for the start of the February sweep period with a 7.6 household ranking, half a point better than “Family Feud’s” 7.1. “Dr. Phil” (3.8) maintained its run as the No. 1 talk show with a 3.8, its best showing since November.

Why do you use household ratings here but nowhere else? Ad deals for syndicated shows are largely based on household ratings and, for daytime shows, ratings among women 25-54.
What about “The Simpsons”? “Simpsons” repeats in syndication are not counted in the weekly ratings because they don’t include any national advertising.
“Weekend Adventure” is a package of nature shows airing weekends on many ABC stations.
For syndicated shows airing on multiple days, the viewership is the average of all telecasts.
