“Judge Judy’s” ratings fell a little bit in the week of Oct. 2-8, but not enough for any other syndicated show to take over the No. 1 ranking.
“Judy” drew a 6.5 household rating for the week, down from 6.9 the previous week (it was pre-empted in some markets for coverage of the Las Vegas mass shooting). That was still enough to keep the show ahead of second-place “Family Feud” (6.2).
“Jeopardy” and “Wheel of Fortune” tied for third overall at 5.9. “Jeopardy” ticked up slightly week to week during Austin Rogers’ 12-show win streak.

Why do you use household ratings here but nowhere else? Ad deals for syndicated shows are largely based on household ratings and, for daytime shows, ratings among women 25-54.
What about “The Simpsons”? “Simpsons” repeats in syndication are not counted in the weekly ratings because they don’t include any national advertising.
“Weekend Adventure” is a package of nature shows airing weekends on many ABC stations.
For syndicated shows airing on multiple days, the viewership is the average of all telecasts.
Distributor key: DAD = Disney ABC Domestic Television, SPT= Sony Pictures Television, 2/T=Twentieth Television, WB = Warner Bros., CTD = CBS Television Distribution, NBU = NBCUniversal.
AT = Additional Time/Telecasts, more than the typical number of episodes or time periods/week.
