You may have heard this before: “Judge Judy” and “Family Feud” were the top-rated weekday syndicated strips for Oct. 3-9.
“Judge Judy” was down slightly week to week (6.7 household rating vs. 6.9 the prior week) but held onto the No. 1 spot for the 10th consecutive week. “Family Feud” (6.3), meanwhile, beat out “Wheel of Fortune” (6.0) to lead the game-show category for the 24th week in a row — nearly half a year.
“Dr. Phil” (3.2) maintained its lead over “Live with Kelly” (2.4) in the talk-show race, although the gap was slightly smaller than the previous week, 0.8 vs. 1.0.

Why do you use household ratings here but nowhere else? Ad deals for syndicated shows are largely based on household ratings and, for daytime shows, ratings among women 25-54.
What about “The Simpsons”? “Simpsons” repeats in syndication are not counted in the weekly ratings because they don’t include any national advertising.
“Weekend Adventure” is a package of nature shows airing weekends on many ABC stations.
For syndicated shows airing on multiple days, the viewership is the average of all telecasts.
