“Family Feud” remained the top game show in syndication for the week of Sept. 25, but “Jeopardy” made it close.
“Jeopardy” finished just two tenths of a point behind “Family Feud” in households (5.8 rating vs. 6.0), the smallest gap between the two shows in about six months. The week also include the start of current “Jeopardy” champ Austin Rogers’ win streak.
“Judge Judy” held onto the No. 1 overall spot with a 6.9 rating, and “Dr. Phil” (3.4) had its highest rating in five months.

Why do you use household ratings here but nowhere else? Ad deals for syndicated shows are largely based on household ratings and, for daytime shows, ratings among women 25-54.
What about “The Simpsons”? “Simpsons” repeats in syndication are not counted in the weekly ratings because they don’t include any national advertising.
“Weekend Adventure” is a package of nature shows airing weekends on many ABC stations.
For syndicated shows airing on multiple days, the viewership is the average of all telecasts.
