Football, both the NFL and college varieties, had a very strong showing in the ratings for the week of Nov. 27.
Three games — NBC’s Sunday and Thursday NFL broadcasts and FOX’s coverage of the Big Ten Championship in college football — and two highlight shows occupied the top 5 spots in the adults 18-49 rankings for the week. “Sunday Night Football” led the way with a 6.4 rating.
The viewer rankings were a little more diverse at the top, but those five all finished in the top 11.
NBC led the network race, beating FOX by 0.8 points in adults 18-49 (2.4 vs. 1.6) and topping CBS in viewers, 9.26 million to 7.65 million.
