For the first time this spring, a show not named “Roseanne” is No. 1 among adults 18-49 when “Roseanne” has aired an original episode.

The season finale of “The Big Bang Theory” grabbed the top spot for the week of May 7. Its 2.9 rating is three tenths of a point better than “Roseanne’s” 2.6. The CBS comedy also finished first in total viewers with 15.52 million, its second-best number of the season.

ABC, CBS and NBC all tied for first place in the 18-49 demo at 0.9. CBS had a comfortable lead in viewers and has reclaimed the No. 1 ranking in that metric for the season. It’s now 30,000 viewers ahead of NBC (8.98 million to 8.95 million).
