No surprise but ABC has ordered full seasons of  new series Once Upon a Time,’ ‘Last Man Standing’ as well as sophomore ‘Happy Endings’ upping them from 13 episodes to at least 22. ‘Pan Am’ did not get an extra episode order, but it did get an order for five additional scripts.

The full season order for ‘Once Upon a Time’ was a no-brainer after it debuted to a 4.0 adults 18-49 rating and dropped only a tenth in its second episodes.  The full order for ‘Last Man Standing’ isn’t a surprise either.

Only a retentionista would complain about last night’s ‘Happy Endings’ pulling a 3.4 adults 18-49 rating out of ‘Modern Family.’ If you’re one of those retentionistas just chalk that up to ABC not caring about retention as much as you do, which isn’t anything new.

‘Revenge’ and ‘Suburgatory’ already were previously picked up for full seasons.  As for ‘Pan Am’ it looks like ABC is still on the fence about whether it’s 13 and done or 18 and done. Either way, it isn’t long for the world.
