The CW has officially given the nod to two more dramas: Secret Circle and Hart of Dixie.

Secret Circle is co-written by Vampire Diaries co-creator Kevin Williamson and will star Britt Robertson.   Hart of Dixie is a medical drama that will star Rachel Bilson.

The CW has officially confirmed it picked up Ringer starring Sarah Michelle Gellar (which CBS passed on).  CW’s fall schedule will be announced Thursday morning.

The CW has also officially picked up unscripted series H8ER which allows haters of celebrities to mingle with the celebrities they hate.

Update: fans of Nikita worried about what this means for its fate — I still am relatively optimistic for Nikita.  I can’t imagine any of the above pickups being launched on Friday, paired with Supernatural, and I doubt the CW would move any of its existing shows to Friday (including One Tree Hill, assuming it is renewed, and I assume it will be). No worries, both shows have been renewed, and Hellcats was canceled.

Update 2: CW has picked up two additional unscripted shows, The Frame and Re-Modeled.
