The current 2010-11 season officially ends after next Wednesday night’s programming, so we’ll wind down this season with a night by night look at next season. First up Thursday (since it’s Thursday today). Check back tomorrow for Friday, Saturday (yes, Saturday, thanks to Rules of Engagement) on Saturday, etc.
Sadly I could never get my table grids to play nicely with WordPress, but I was determined to use them even if I had to do screen grabs of them. I had fancier color schemes, but because it will be a pain in the butt to change these, I stuck with the white background for all networks to ensure everyone could read them well.
A lot of eyes will be on this night that includes seven (count ’em yourself if you don’t trust me) newcomers, including The X Factor results show.
At least early on I expect most interest will be for:
- How Charlie’s Angels does (or how badly X Factor crushes it depending on your point of view)
- How CBS’s new comedy does at 8:30, as well as how Parks & Recreation does at that new time
- The X Factor, of course
- How Person of Interest performs for CBS at 9pm
- How the Office does in its first season without Michael Scott
- How Whitney does at 9:30
At least going into the season I don’t think Secret Circle will have quite the buzz that Ringer has (due to Sarah Michelle Gellar), but will it have the better ratings? Though it’s easy to guess that The X Factor will edge out Big Bang Theory for 8pm supremacy (with everything else pretty much gasping for air), I’m going to take most of the summer to think on 9p and 10p.
